Imge Drawing is a professional 2D drawing application that automatically derives standards-compliant technical drawings from 3D CAD models. Front, top, side and isometric views are generated with a single command; section and detail views are defined interactively.
ISO 128, DIN 406 and ANSI drawing templates, a full GD&T symbol set and an intelligent dimensioning engine ensure your engineering documents are produced at the highest quality and revision-controlled.
Integration with Sirius PLM means every drawing revision is automatically versioned, enters an approval workflow and is archived with a fully auditable change history. Bidirectional data exchange is provided in DWG, DXF, STEP and PDF formats.

Automatic View Generation from 3D Models
Front, back, top, bottom, left, right and isometric views are created in one click from Imge CAD, SolidWorks or Inventor models. Views update automatically when the 3D model changes.
Section & Detail Views
Full section, half section, revolved section and quarter section definitions; enlarged detail balloons clearly show complex geometry. Section placement engine prevents overlaps.
Intelligent Dimensioning Engine
Linear, angular, radial, diametral, arc length and ordinate dimension types supported. Geometry-snapping dimension lines, leaders and attachment points are auto-calculated; stacked dimensions are arranged without overlap.
Full GD&T Symbol Set (ISO 1101)
All form, position, orientation and runout tolerances applied per ISO 1101. Datum reference frames, feature control frames and material condition modifiers are correctly associated to geometry.
Standard Templates & Title Block Management
ISO A0–A4, DIN, ANSI and custom corporate title block templates defined. Drawing title, revision table, BOM and stamp fields auto-populate from the template.
Layer & Linetype Management
Every drawing element — visible edges, hidden lines, centerlines, section hatching — is assigned to a separate layer. Color, linetype and lineweight rules are configured to corporate standards.
BOM Table & Balloon Annotation
Parts list (BOM) is automatically generated and linked to balloons in assembly drawings. One-click transfer to SCIENTA ERP initiates purchasing and inventory processes.
Symbol & Block Library
Surface roughness symbols, weld symbols, hole and thread standards, hydraulic/pneumatic icons and company logos are stored in a customizable block library.
Multi-Format Output & Transfer
DWG, DXF, PDF/A, SVG and high-resolution PNG/TIFF output supported. AutoCAD-compatible DWG read/write ensures seamless supplier and customer collaboration.
Revision History & PLM Integration
Every save is archived with a revision stamp and user information. A drawing cannot receive 'Approved' status until the Sirius PLM approval workflow is complete; previous revisions can be viewed comparatively.
