1990s
Planting the Seed
Young Alper asked a question at the vocational high school where his father taught:
"Why is this data being entered four times?"
Student data was entered into the system. Then the same data was re-entered for billing. Then sent to accounting and entered again. And the government processed the same data once more.
This question planted the seed of a dream.
2000
ADSL and a Dream
Unlimited internet was coming to Turkey.
A light went on in young Alper's mind: "What if all these systems could work connected to each other over the internet?"
The idea of a web-based accounting program was born. He got into industrial engineering. Learned about MRP. The smart factory dream began to take shape.
2004
The American Consultant
Through a portal, a connection was made with an American consultant. Ideas about ERP, smart factories, and MRP were exchanged.
The consultant asked: "What do you want to build?"
The answer: "A web-based ERP software. A large system where all systems work integrated with each other."
From that day on, the foundations of SCIENTA were laid.
2005
Microsoft Internship
Alper Bilge got the opportunity to intern at his dream company: Microsoft.
But during the internship, he realized something: The company of his dreams actually had a narrower vision than his own.
This disappointment accelerated his decision to start his own company.

Foundation
BilTAY Technology was founded in Eskisehir.
Founder: Alper Bilge
Partners: Yusuf Burak Oktay and family companies
The company name comes from the combination of "Bilge" and "Taygut" surnames. In ancient Turkish, it means "the knowledgeable one".
2006-2008
The World's 5th Web-Based ERP
SCIENTA became the world's 5th web-based ERP software.
Starting from America, reaching Europe, then Japan. International sales gained momentum.
A Turkish software was going global from Eskisehir.
2008
The Sandbox
The global economic crisis shook the world. But every crisis became an opportunity.
The low-code development platform called "Sandbox" was born during this period.
One engineer could now work with the capacity of ten.
SCIENTA, ProCOST, QDMS, HRM, CRM, SAT... All built on this infrastructure.
2010s
Onur's Choice
The Engineer Who Turned Down Airbus
Alper Bilge's brother Onur Bilge attended the EuroAsia Fair in Hamburg while pursuing his master's degree in Germany.
He asked the global giants — SAP, Oracle and others — about features that BilTAY already had.
Their answers: "We don't have that feature. We're not considering it."
At that moment, he realized: A small Turkish company was ahead of the world's giants.
He was accepted at Airbus. He turned it down. Returned to Turkey. Became a partner at BilTAY.
2019
BEYBİ Smart Factory
The smart factory solution developed for BEYBİ became a turning point.
After that, projects multiplied and the ecosystem grew.
2023
Earthquake and Transformation
The February 6, 2023 earthquake deeply shook Turkey. BilTAY lost half of its assets.
A two-year silent crisis began. But this crisis also brought transformation: AI integration.
Production speed multiplied. An environment to work at the speed of thought was created.
2024
Roketsan Supplier Net
The development of Roketsan's supply chain management software Supplier Net elevated BilTAY to a new position in the defense industry.
2025
The NexUS Era
BilTAY NexUS launch.

Grandmother's Story

When Crimea was lost in the 1850s, our ancestors moved to Rumelia. After our great-grandfather fell as a martyr, our grandmother had to leave one of her children behind and migrate to Turkey. She gave her remaining gold to the national resistance.
The neighbors said: "You gave away all your gold, now you have no food left!"
"This is our last homeland. If we lose this too, we have nowhere left to go."
A philosophy born from this story: "Domestic and national" is not just a slogan for us, it is a deep belief.
Just as a Japanese child takes pride in the trains they build, a German in their machines, an American in their software...
